Tunisia's national airline, Tunisair connects France and Europe with Tunisia on many routes (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Tunis, Djerba, Monastir...). Important: as Tunisair is not an EU carrier, Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 only covers Tunisair flights departing from an airport in the European Union. A flight arriving in the EU from Tunisia is not covered. VolClaim checks the direction of your flight and your eligibility free of charge, then handles your entire claim. You pay nothing upfront, and you only pay if we obtain your compensation.

These grounds apply to Tunisair flights departing from an airport in the European Union.
For a flight departing from the EU (e.g. Paris, Marseille, Lyon to Tunisia), whatever the cause stated by Tunisair, unless a proven extraordinary circumstance applies.
In particular if you were notified of the cancellation less than 14 days before departure, without a satisfactory re-routing offered by Tunisair.
If Tunisair denied you boarding against your will despite a valid booking and presenting yourself on time.
Marseille → Tunis: covered by Regulation (EC) No 261/2004. Tunis → Marseille: not covered, as Tunisair is not an EU carrier. VolClaim checks this point before anything else.

No, not always. Tunisair is not an EU carrier. Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 applies to your Tunisair flight only if it takes off from an airport in the European Union — for example Paris-Tunis or Marseille-Djerba. A flight operated by Tunisair arriving in the EU from Tunisia, such as Tunis-Paris, is however not covered by this regulation. VolClaim checks the exact direction of your flight before confirming your eligibility.
Tunisair may invoke an extraordinary circumstance (extreme weather, strike, security risk) to refuse payment on an otherwise eligible flight. For the claims entrusted to us, VolClaim checks whether this ground is genuinely justified before challenging the airline's response.
VolClaim submits your claim via the official claim form on tunisair.com, never via a generic or guessed email address, which limits lost claims and speeds up processing.
The simplest way is to entrust your claim to us from the start: VolClaim checks the eligibility of your Tunisair flight free of charge, prepares the claim with the relevant documents, files it through the airline's official channel and follows it up until payment. No upfront costs: 25% incl. VAT only if successful. If court action becomes necessary, our total fee is capped at 50% incl. VAT. It covers all procedural costs (court fees, lawyer, judicial officer), which we advance and bear. If the proceedings fail, you pay nothing. Procedural costs awarded against the airline (legal costs, Article 700 of the French Code of Civil Procedure) are retained by us.
The refund corresponds to the price of the unused ticket: it is owed if the flight is cancelled, or if you give up travelling after a delay of 5 hours or more. Compensation is a fixed amount of €250 to €600 depending on the distance, owed in the event of a late cancellation, a delay of 3 hours or more on arrival or denied boarding, unless an extraordinary circumstance applies. In the event of a cancellation, the two can be combined. Read our refund or compensation guide.
